| Classic characters
of the macabre dwell here, representing a cross-section
in horror culture from modern movies all the way back
to radio and literature. Test your knowledge as you
make your way through each chamber, receiving clues
for the final challenge for each correct answer.
Group play is encouraged, as winning
the game should require at least two people working
as a team: the Decoder (answers the riddle) and
the Timekeeper (deciphers how much time is left).
One person, with a single vantage point, may not
be aware of everything happening, so defeating Riddles
of Horror as a lone Decoder is not likely. Having
more team members ensures a better chance of solving
each riddle and beating the clock.
By the time guests reach the
attraction entrance they should have formed teams
(no more than 8 per team). Ticket stubs are surrendered
to the attendant, who in turn issues an official
Horror Aptitude Test (H.A.T.) form to the teams
primary Decoder.
